Professional Services Embryologist

Responsibilities

• Perform OPU and flush filter searching, including oocyte and embryo identification
• Evaluate embryos in alignment with IETS standards
• Execute cryopreservation and thawing of embryos
• Absorb and execute fresh and frozen embryo transfers
• Prepare and pack embryo and semen shipments
• Maintain accurate data entry, reporting, and inventory tracking
• Coordinate client communication and transfer scheduling
• Support IVF lab operations and adhere to all workplace safety protocols

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science (or related field) or Veterinary Technician degree
• Strong foundational knowledge and interest in reproductive physiology
• Less than 2 years of embryology or TOG-related experience
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and manual dexterity
• Ability to work extended periods at a microscope with precise hand-eye coordination
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with liquid nitrogen
• Willingness to travel, including weekends and extended workdays; valid driver’s license required
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients
