Professional (Senior) Sales Representative, Respiratory – Jackson, MS

About the role

The Professional (Senior) Sales Representative, Respiratory role in Jackson, MS will develop and execute a business plan for the assigned territory (Jackson, Hattiesburg, and Starkville, MS) that aligns with Viatris sales plans, strategies, and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality sales presentations to all targeted customers.
• Achieve quarterly sales goals while adhering to ethical sales practices and regulations.
• Apply targeting principles and develop pre-call planning strategies for key targets.
• Build positive, interactive relationships with peers, customers, and managers.
• Maintain high levels of call and field productivity.
• Gather and utilize information from offices, pharmacists, and others to implement strategies for territory prescribers.
• Leverage sample programs, literature, and other materials to raise physician awareness of Viatris products.
• Differentiate products from competitors and respond to customer issues confidentially and appropriately.
• Pursue continuous learning and professional development in sales, communication, and product knowledge.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree required.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmaceutical sales experience (or a combination of experience and education).
• Documented history of successful performance and demonstrated business acumen.
• Proven success in influence, negotiation, and strong oral/written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, ability to work independently, and self-motivation.
• Ability to learn, apply, and communicate product and disease-state knowledge.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Must live within the geography of responsibility or a reasonable driving distance.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel as required.

Pay

Salary range: $100,000 – $150,000 (Professional level) or $108,000 – $162,000 (Senior level), based on skills, experience, and location.
