Professional Pet Groomer

Qualifications

• Professional grooming experience working with a variety of dog breeds and coat types
• Knowledge of breed-specific grooming standards
• Ability to safely handle pets of varying sizes and temperaments
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Grooming certification is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Perform full grooming services including bathing, drying, haircuts/styling, brush-outs, nail trims, de-matting, ear cleaning, and gland expression
• Evaluate each pet's coat and skin condition and communicate grooming recommendations to pet owners
• Engage with clients to understand grooming preferences and expectations
• Safely handle pets of various sizes and temperaments during grooming procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized grooming area throughout the day and at the end of each shift

Pay

• You Will Be Paid a Minimum Hourly Rate Of $10/hr. For Each Hour Worked.
• Your Total Compensation Will Be The Greater Of Either The applicable commission on grooming services performed, or
• The applicable minimum hourly rate for all hours worked.
