Professional Mover at McCorquodale Transfer, LLC Reports To: Operational Manager & General Manager FLSA Status: Non- Exempt / Hourly Location: Jackson, MS Schedule: Morning shift. Responsibilities Load and unload furniture, appliances, and fragile items with care and efficiencySafely drive 16–26 ft. box trucks (automatic transmission) to residential and commercial locationsEnsure every move is handled professionally, with courtesy and respect for clients and propertyProvide white-glove, customer-facing service to clientsLead or support team members with on-site coordination, wrapping, padding, and stagingMaintain accurate paperwork and follow company protocolsAssist in warehouse tasks: organizing inventory, prepping materials, and basic equipment checksFollow all safety guidelines to prevent injury and property damage Requirements Previous experience as a professional mover, courier, or delivery driver (preferred)Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly, in all weather conditionsValid driver’s license and clean driving record requiredStrong communication and teamwork skills; must be comfortable interacting with clientsReliable transportation to job sites and flexible schedule availabilityExperience operating forklifts or working in a warehouse is a plusMust be able to pass a drug test What We’re Looking For A customer-focused mindset and ability to represent the company professionallyA self-starter who’s comfortable working independently and as part of a teamSomeone who’s coachable, punctual, and looking to grow within the company Pay & Benefits 17.00 – $20.00/hour, based on experience and performance Full-time, consistent schedule Paid training and growth opportunities Benefits Include 401(k) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Referral program Flexible schedule Schedule 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday (No Weekends!)
