Professional Handyman - Company Van

About the role

The Woodlands, TX-based Mr. Handyman of The Woodlands is expanding into Grimes, Brazos, and Washington counties and is seeking an experienced service professional to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Handle small-to-medium home and light commercial repairs
• Meet customers, walk jobs, do the work, document it, and collect payment
• Use job-management software for invoicing, scheduling, and customer info
• Work independently, being honest and clear with customers
• Ensure work is done right the first time, with guarantees for one year

Requirements

• 5+ years of paid handyman or skilled-trades experience
• Strong skills in at least three areas such as carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, bathroom/kitchen repairs, flooring, or general home repair
• Your own hand tools
• A clean driving record and ability to be insured on their vehicle
• Able to pass a background check
• Comfortable lifting 50 lbs, working at heights, and working overhead for extended periods
• Proficient with smartphones or iPads for managing your day

Pay

$25 per hour, or more depending upon experience. $40 per hour is achievable through a weekly bonus program.
