Professional - Engineer II

About the role

The main function of an Engineer is to design, develop, and implement technical solutions that meet project and operational requirements. This role is responsible for applying engineering principles, conducting analysis, and supporting the execution of engineering projects across various disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop systems, components, or processes based on project specifications and requirements.
• Conduct testing, analysis, and evaluations to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project planning and execution.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and drawings to communicate engineering concepts.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, proposing effective solutions.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
• Experience: This role requires 2-4 years of experience in utility design or related project construction design.
• Technical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to the discipline. Proficiency in AutoCAD design. Able to learn and use mainframe computer and PC software, including SAP EDS & FIN modules, Microstation, Stoner and Arc Info. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and data. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of industry standards and engineering best practices. Strong organizational and time management abilities.
