This position will provide service group educational support to clinical staff and will be focused on staff clinical development and expertise. Will work intimately with the service group director and Clinical Nurse Specialist to plan for the development of excellence in care. This role emphasizes the use of educational theory and expertise to foster clinical growth, increase staff competency, and ensure safe and positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide educational support to clinical staff within the service group.
  • Collaborate with the service group director and Clinical Nurse Specialist to develop and implement plans for clinical excellence.
  • Apply educational theory and expertise to promote clinical growth and staff competency.
  • Ensure safe and positive patient outcomes through staff development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse License upon hire, valid in states where care is delivered.
  • 3 years of experience in nursing leadership, including clinical experience in the associated service line area.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Emphasis on education with current clinical competence in the service group.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $58.81 - $91.30 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Full time, Day shift.

Providence Swedish is the largest not-for-profit health care system in the greater Puget Sound area, comprised of eight hospital campuses, emergency rooms, specialty centers, and a network of primary care and specialty care locations. This position is based at Swedish Cherry Hill in Seattle, WA.
