Key Responsibilities
- Aid in the planning, coordination, and execution of in-house training programs and professional development initiatives.
- Create and distribute program evaluations and manage post-program follow-up activities.
- Collect, organize, and maintain Continuing Legal Education (CLE) applications, accreditation materials, and course documentation.
- Provide logistical support for trainings, workshops, and retreats, including scheduling, room reservations, catering coordination, and onsite event setup as needed.
- Maintain and update internal Professional Development resources, websites, and learning platforms, including Arnold & Porter University.
- Create and distribute internal communications and marketing materials promoting Professional Development programs and initiatives.
- Manage updates to the firmwide training calendar to ensure accurate and timely program information.
- Gather, track, and analyze participant feedback to evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support associate development processes and other department initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year of professional office experience preferred.
- Experience in a law firm, corporate, or other professional services environment preferred.
- Familiarity with legal professional development programs and CLE accreditation requirements is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related technology applications.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong organizational, project management, and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven reliability, initiative, and commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to support programs and events.
Pay
The anticipated base salary for this position is $52,000 to $58,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
