About the role

Fred Astaire Dance Studios is seeking a performer who is eager to learn ballroom dance and build a career as a dancer and instructor. The position offers the chance to perform and teach beginners in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Learn ballroom dance techniques and become a professional instructor
• Teach group and private dance classes
• Prepare couples for wedding dances
• Perform at various venues and events
• Compete in dance competitions

Requirements

• No prior ballroom experience required, but dance experience is helpful
• A charismatic and outgoing personality
• Willingness to work closely with people from diverse backgrounds

Qualifications

No formal education or training is required, but a passion for dance and a desire to teach are essential. Training will be provided.
