Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage land development projects from concept through completion
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client relationships and communication
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
- Prepare and review proposals, contracts, and project scopes
- Cook up and coordinate across internal disciplines (civil, surveying, planning, environmental, etc.)
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff
- Ensure quality control and adherence to regulatory standards
- Support business development efforts and identify new opportunities
Qualifications
- EIT or Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 2-7 years of experience in land development / civil engineering
- Proven experience managing projects, teams, and client relationships
- Strong understanding of site design, grading, drainage, and utilities
- Experience with budgeting, proposals, and project financials
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design tools
- Strong communication and leadership skills
