Professional, Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

Cotality is a leading provider of property intelligence, dedicated to driving the global property industry forward. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in transforming complex data into actionable insights, supporting various business functions and leadership levels.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver modern reporting and analytics solutions using Tableau, Looker, SSRS, Excel, and other BI platforms.
• Maintain and enhance operational and executive dashboards.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and reporting datasets using SQL, Python, Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery), and SQL Server.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and translate business needs into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
• Develop automated reporting processes and identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through SQL, Python, and BI platform automation.
• Create intuitive dashboards and visualizations that clearly communicate operational performance, trends, and business opportunities.
• Leverage automation, Generative AI, and AI-assisted capabilities within Business Intelligence platforms to streamline dashboard development, enhance reporting efficiency, improve documentation, and accelerate business insight generation.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reporting data through rigorous validation, testing, and data quality best practices.
• Perform ad hoc analyses using multiple enterprise data sources to provide actionable recommendations and business insights.
• Research, analyze, and interpret business processes to identify operational bottlenecks and recommend data-driven improvements.
• Build and maintain relationships with business users to ensure high adoption and buy-in of delivered reporting solutions.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. 3+ years of experience developing robust Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions.
• Data Integration: Proven experience integrating and transforming data from multiple enterprise systems.
• Dashboard Design: Strong experience designing enterprise-grade dashboards and operational reporting solutions.
• BI Tool Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in modern BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
• Technical Skills: Advanced SQL skills for querying, transforming, and validating data; experience developing analytics and automation solutions using Python.

Plus & Preferences

• Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics capabilities, natural language query experiences, or AI-assisted dashboard development.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery), Salesforce, and CRM analytics.

Pay Range

$67,000 - $90,480 USD annually
