Professional Aide

About the role

This is a temporary or on-call position providing professional support. Responsibilities may include general business, science, medical, agricultural or other professional support functions.

Term: Temps can work two nine-month terms with a week break in service in between and at the end of the second term terminate for three months or switch to an on-call status. On-call status allows up to 1,039 hours worked in any twelve-month period.

• Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form
• Multi-task efficiently while managing a high-volume workload in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Superior customer service skills with the ability to be creative and think ‘outside the box’
• Strong command of communication, writing, organizational and problem solving skills
• Effectively interact with people of diverse backgrounds and different levels of experience

Requirements

• Must be at least an enrolled college student in a comparable subject matter or a professional with relevant job experience
• Must like to work with middle and high school students
