Production Worker (Wax Machine Operator - Weeked Days Shift)
Responsibilities
- Repeats wax or plastic patterns by operating one or two automatic fixed cycle, power injection machines.
- Prepares pattern for inspection by cleaning core print area and identifying pattern.
- Performs visual inspection for quality of injected pattern.
- Deflashes solid patterns at press.
Requirements
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Standing up to 8 hours.
Qualifications
- BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to perform highly detailed and highly repetitive work.
About the Role
Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Wax Machine Operator to join their Dover Casting group in Dover, New Jersey. The position involves working weekends from Friday to Sunday, 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
The starting hourly rate is $24.24, increasing to $26.96 after one year. The position also includes an hourly "shift premium" for off-shift work.
