About the role
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the Interiors team, reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. This position is based at our office in Lewisburg, TN. In this role, you will ensure the uptime and reliability of production equipment, supporting safe and efficient manufacturing operations across the Marelli plant.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment and tooling.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and production support requests in a timely manner to restore normal operations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair history, and work orders using the plant CMMS system.
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and assist in implementing corrective actions to prevent repeat issues.
- Assist with installation, modification, and improvement of production equipment and tooling.
- Work with production, engineering, and tooling teams to troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal departments when equipment repairs or upgrades are required.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments and diagnostic tools to verify proper equipment operation.
- Follow all plant safety procedures including lockout/tagout, machine guarding, and safe maintenance practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with plant safety and 5S standards.
- Share knowledge and assist in training other technicians when required.
- Participate in maintenance projects, reliability initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
- Perform physical activities as required including lifting, climbing, and operation of forklifts, lifts, and other material handling equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or technical certification in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field.
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and associated industrial control systems used in automated equipment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with lockout/tagout, machine guarding, and other safety procedures.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, shifts, or participate in on-call rotations as needed.
- Ability to work in US without visa sponsorship.
