Production Worker - Temporary, Part Time

Our Production Team Members are valuable members of our assembly line. They assemble vehicles by utilizing the materials and tools provided. They may also be responsible for selecting and attaching parts to vehicles or components using hoists, hand tools, machinery, or other equipment.

Pay

$21.00 per hour (shift premiums also offered)

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety and ensure that all work is done in a safe manner, contributing to a culture that values safety above all else
• Thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and quickly adapt to changes in job duties as needed
• Take pride in doing high-quality work and complete tasks within set timeframes
• Use tools and machinery, including operating mobile equipment to move materials within the assembly plant (equipment may operate at heights of up to 35 feet)

Requirements

Physical Requirements

• Quick response to safety instructions, alarms, and signals
• Ability to work and stand for extended periods
• Comfortably wear personal protective equipment
• Navigate a busy environment
• Bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach
• Lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. depending on department
• Occasional sitting during certain tasks
• Drive mobile equipment when needed

Minimum Requirements

• 18+ years old
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Shift flexible as hours and days assigned may vary
• Satisfactorily complete drug testing and a background check
• Proficiency to listen, read, and follow work and safety instructions written in English

Qualifications

Preferred:

• Experience working in auto manufacturing
• Experience working in manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Experience identifying and reporting quality defects
• Experience operating mobile equipment or using specialized tools such as forklifts, pallet jacks, torque guns, hoists, or industrial vehicles
