Production Worker- Paddock Rd.

About the role

Throughout your shift, you’ll help wash, dry, inspect, test, destroy, label, pack, and store drums and tote containers. Your specific tasks will vary daily based on where your manpower is needed. You may operate a power washer, a vacuum, a forklift, or other tools. This environment is not climate-controlled and can be loud. There may be a chemical odor due to washing containers that previously held chemicals. The work is physically demanding—you’ll be on your feet for most of your shift, performing repetitive and strenuous tasks. While the job isn’t difficult, it requires endurance and consistency. It’s stable work with a friendly team, and you’ll leave each day tired but proud.

Responsibilities

• Meet production standards on specific assignments within required time
• Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
• Perform all assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions, and requirements
• Ensure safety and quality throughout production
• Notify a Production Lead or Supervisor when stepping off the line to maintain safety and quality standards
• Report all production waste or issues to the Production Lead or Supervisor
• Perform other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager
• Follow all company policies and procedures

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
• Troubleshoot problems and report issues
• Work well in a team environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to be on feet for 8-12 hours per shift
• Use of hands and fingers to perform job functions
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, and climb
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Physically able to repeatedly lift a 35-lb plastic bottle
• Basic math skills to count totes and drums during loading/unloading
