Production Worker - Laminating

Position: Creel Tender
Department: Gumming/Laminating

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist the Laminator Operator with the economy of the operation, product quality and quantity, area cleanliness, and safe work practices.
• Receive instructions from the Operator, Manager, or Supervisors.
• Maintain upstairs and downstairs creels, ensuring proper yarn denier and placement for shop work orders.
• Place spools on creel racks and splice them together.
• Put CD yarns in scrim.
• Put yarns in eyeboard and comb.
• Package reject or empty spools.
• Stock spools and supplies into creel areas.
• Assist the Operator or Assistant Operator with mill roll tasks, including unwind splices and preparation.
• Handle web breaks.
• Perform other tasks as directed by the Manager or Supervisor.
