Production Operator-Lamination

About the role

• Part of sawmill team stacking, wrapping, and banding 2x4 lumber
• Pulling tarps off raw material for daily use
• Assisting team in stacking lumber products
• Understands and observes all safety policies and procedures
• Interprets job orders assigned
• Coordinates with forklift operators, saw operators, and production management
• Performs other duties as required by management

Requirements

• 90% of work to be performed in an indoor environment subject to noise and dust
• Ability to read, write, and do basic mathematics
• Able to stand for extended periods of time

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
