Production Worker

About the role

The Hartsville Converting Operations has an opening for a Production Worker. This position will be under the general direction of the Winding and/or Finishing Shift Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• responsible for safely and efficiently assisting machine tenders or others with the physical requirements of the assigned operations
• operating small hand-type or less complicated equipment
• removing tubes from overhead dryer chain conveyor
• loading tubes on trucks and labeling them properly
• placing scrap on carts to be hauled away
• inspection and packing tubes
• other essential duties as assigned

Requirements

• have a very good record in the areas of safety, work history, attendance and housekeeping
• able to work o/t, weekends, and holidays
• have a history of labor intensive work experience
• fork truck experience preferred

Qualifications

• high school diploma or equivalent
• valid driver’s license
• ability to pass a drug screening

Skills

• strong physical stamina
• ability to follow instructions
• attention to detail

Pay

$22.43/hr + potential monthly bonus

Schedule

Rotating 1st & 2nd shift (7:00 am - 3:00 pm and 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm)
