Production Worker

Job Responsibilities

• Aid in setting up and operating machines according to established procedures.
• Verify that equipment is set up correctly and operates efficiently to meet specifications.
• Inspect products regularly throughout the shift to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Assist operators in resolving equipment issues when necessary.
• Perform operator duties when the operator is absent.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow safety lockout/tag-out procedures and report any unsafe conditions.
• Communicate any issues to management and assist others as needed.
• Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Work safely and report any unsafe conditions to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Experience in a related field is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at machine speeds.
• Strong understanding of written English.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

Skills

• Understanding of safety procedures and practices.

Pay

The starting hourly rate for this position is $20.00. Overtime pay and additional premiums for perfect attendance and/or working evening or night shifts may apply.

Schedule

Hours may vary based on the role and may require standing/walking for extended periods.
