About the role

Due to continued growth, Hollister-Whitney has a full-time, 3rd shift position available in our Shipping Department where we wash, paint, pack, and ship products.

Responsibilities

• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and moving materials
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE (steel toe shoes, ear plugs, safety glasses, etc.)
• Work in varying temperatures (seasonal)
• Operate forklifts (certification preferred or willingness to be certified)
• Maintain strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Use basic computer skills for tracking shipments and labeling packages
• Collaborate with a team in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic computer skills
• Team-oriented mindset with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Forklift certification or experience (preferred but not required)
• Manufacturing work history (preferred)

Pay

Starting rate of $20.00 per hour with additional increases.

Schedule

Full-time, 3rd shift hours vary between 10:30 pm - 7:00 am CST (8, 9, or 10-hour shifts).
