Who will you be working with?

At Barber Springs PA, you will work independently or as part of a team to produce high-quality workpieces. This role involves operating a variety of industrial machines including coilers, spring testers, shearers, and grinders to complete assigned tasks. You will perform multiple duties throughout the manufacturing process to ensure parts are produced safely, accurately, and efficiently.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of Barber Spring PA, you will be responsible for operating a variety of assigned machines to produce parts according to established specifications and engineering drawings. This role requires reviewing and interpreting blueprints or work instructions for parts to ensure all components are manufactured within quality standards. You will verify that machined workpieces meet required specifications and may be asked to support special projects.

What do we want to know about you?

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • 2 years of related experience/training or equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret quality requirements for compliance, work instructions, production schedules, and measurements
  • Ability to identify basic springs
  • Accurate, legible, and timely completion of all production reports
  • Other job duties as assigned

What will your typical day look like?

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel product, stoop kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work in an atmosphere where exposure to wet, hot, or humid conditions may apply.
  • Ability to wear required PPE such as steel-toed boots, hearing protection, and safety glasses or any other equipment as required.
  • Performs safe operations
  • Responsible and accountable for processing all paperwork pertaining to production of the product
  • Accountable for maintaining housekeeping standards in the area
  • Maintains production and quality standards
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

  • The salary rate for this role is currently $22.18.
  • The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
  • The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
