Production Worker

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform tasks or produce items according to the specifications provided.
• Ensure that all work meets the company’s quality standards. Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary corrections.
• Work at a consistent pace to maximize output without compromising quality. Track and report the number of pieces completed daily.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Report any malfunctions or required repairs to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Accurately record the number of pieces produced and any issues encountered during production. Submit records to the supervisor as required.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Duties

• Assemble components using hand tools and power tools according to specifications.
• Operate machinery and equipment safely and effectively within the manufacturing facility.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow on the assembly line.
• Fabricate parts as needed, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse or factory setting.
• Utilize forklifts for moving materials when necessary, ensuring safe handling practices.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use various hand tools and power tools effectively.
• Familiarity with assembly line processes and techniques is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Forklift certification is advantageous but not mandatory; training may be provided.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
