Production Worker

Essential Functions

• Loads materials to and from designated storage areas, such as racks and shelves, or vehicles, such as trucks.
• Stage, shrink wrap and ship customer orders.
• Stacks or piles materials, such as pallets.
• Maintain filled inventory areas in an orderly manner.
• Check items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct.
• Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental control standards.
• Maintains a clean work area and completes daily area clean-up tasks at the end of shift.
• Properly disposes of trash and scrap at the end of the shift and as often as needed.
• Notifies Production Supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.

Physical Demands

• Be able to lift up to 100lbs, stand for long periods of time.

Work Environment

• The employee will generally be housed in a non-climate controlled, well-lit environment.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
