Production Worker 2nd Shift (3pm - 11pm Mon-Fri) *Up to $24/hr*

Responsibilities

• Sort parts from work bins from sheet metal processing equipment
• Stage WIP for Fabrication work areas
• Select work orders on the Factory Scheduler, prioritize expedited orders and follow firm status
• Pull and count parts from inventory and locations shown on work orders
• Inspect parts, products, and machinery for defects
• Process orders according to the production schedule
• Operate forklift for material movement
• Fabricate parts using various machines
• Assist with loading and unloading machinery
• Execute material issues/receipts in the ERP system
• Contribute to the parts cycle counting program
• Work at different workstations as required
• Maintain a clean, safe work area

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, a technical certification, a plus
• Mechanically inclined with experience using basic hand tools
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, production documents, and engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to tolerate long periods of standing

Additional Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Visual requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus
• Proficient computer skills
• General knowledge of workplace safety
• Experience in operation of forklift and other material handling equipment
