Production Winder

About The Role

The Production Winder operates and troubleshoots equipment, prepares materials for production, and selects the appropriate materials based on the production schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards
• Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods
• Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
• Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas
• Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma; or 1-2 years vocational training/associate degree
• Additional Requirements: Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators

Qualifications

• Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests
