Production / Warehouse Supervisor

Our client is looking for a hands-on Production / Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate has experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse or distribution center and can lead employees while actively participating in daily operations. Production experience is a plus but not required. The client is looking for someone who is eager to learn, comfortable working on the warehouse floor, and capable of keeping operations organized and running efficiently. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse and production activities.Lead employees while actively participating in order selection, packing, shipping, and receiving.Coordinate incoming shipments, outgoing orders, and timely order fulfillment.Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper product organization.Monitor product handling, storage, and inventory rotation using FEFO (First Expired, First Out).Ensure the warehouse and work areas remain clean, organized, and safe.Monitor daily work progress and help resolve operational issues.Coordinate with management and other departments to meet daily operational goals.Follow established procedures for product handling, quality, and safety.Support employee training and help maintain efficient warehouse operations. Required Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse or distribution center.Experience with order selection, shipping, and receiving.Previous experience supervising, coordinating, or leading warehouse employees.Comfortable performing hands-on warehouse duties rather than working primarily at a desk.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work on-site and support daily operational requirements.Willingness to learn production processes and quality requirements. Preferred Qualifications Previous production or manufacturing experience.Experience in food distribution, food manufacturing, or perishable-product warehouses.Knowledge of inventory control, product rotation, and warehouse safety procedures.Experience using warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or order pickers.Experience working in a high-volume distribution center.
