Production Test Technician

Duties & Responsibilities

• Execute defined test procedures on various optical and electronic products and sub-assemblies using specialized test equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting and fault isolation to the component level on failed units, utilizing schematics, block diagrams, and other technical documentation.
• Record and document test results accurately in the designated manufacturing execution systems (MES) and databases.
• Identify and report product defects, anomalies, and recurring issues to engineering and quality assurance teams.
• Collaborate with production and engineering staff to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment according to established schedules and procedures.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards within the production environment.
• Assist in the training of new technicians on test procedures and equipment operation.

Job Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
