Production Test Technician

About the role

Ichor Systems has an immediate opening for a Product Test Technician, located in Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
• Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
• Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems.
• May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
• Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
• May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.

Requirements

• Knowledge on Transducer, Mass Flow Controller, Regulators and Pneumatic valves components.
• Read Flow diagram drawings.
• Troubleshoot / debug issues, isolate defects and assist in solving defects.
• Work independently with moderate supervision lift to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years production or related work experience.
• A.A. Degree or equivalent work experience, or any combination of education and experience.
• Vocational or technical training or equivalent Digital and/or analog systems testing experience.

Skills

• Good visual and manual dexterity.
• Strong understanding of related mechanics.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
• Ability to interact with other members of the organization.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Good MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
