Position Summary
Rosen Aviation is seeking a Production Test Engineer to develop the next generation of aircraft cabin systems. This role is responsible for developing and improving sub-assembly and product test processes to ensure products function as designed. The candidate will work with suppliers to ensure maximum test coverage and collaborate with engineering from early stages to make designs more testable.
Responsibilities
- Implement and design test-fixtures, testing tools, processes, and improvements at the PCBA and TLA levels.
- Actively assist in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for failures at the manufacturing, repair, customer, and PCBA supplier levels.
- Coordinate with Quality and Reliability data to identify and recommend design and manufacturing improvements for recurring component failures.
- Develop, implement, improve, and maintain golden unit fixtures for repair station and supplier testing programs.
- Provide production, repair, and supplier testing training for all legacy and new test tools, fixtures, and products.
- Document test procedures, results, and improvements.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Experience in test engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Strong understanding of electronics, test equipment, and quality assurance principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in test engineering or similar role.
- Knowledge of test equipment and methodologies, including but not limited to oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and force gauges.
- Experience with electronic component assembly and disassembly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
