About the role

Molecular Products, Inc. is a world leader in the design and manufacture of life-critical devices for the treatment of breathable gases. We are seeking an Extrusion Technician based near Louisville, CO to produce soda lime products on the extrusion process, a critical product line helping to save the planet. This role is part of Filtration Group, a global market-leading provider of filtration solutions across life sciences, indoor air quality, and industrial technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture soda lime products to support packaging operations, adhering to the production schedule.
  • Start up extruder, dryer, and backend processing equipment.
  • Unload finished bags from the bulk bag loader on the extrusion line.
  • Monitor process performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
  • Dispose of and replace filled waste containers generated by the process.
  • Produce new chemical batches according to standard formulations.
  • Replace chemical totes or drums as required.
  • Shut down extruder and record all bag output and waste on production logs.
  • Calculate daily process screening yields and overall yields.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the extrusion production area.
  • Cross-train in soda line packaging areas and support packaging lines as needed.
  • Adhere to MPI protocols for QMS, ITAR, and EH&S compliance.
  • Strive to achieve daily production goals in support of customer demand.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an industrial/chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of general chemical safe handling practices.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to preserve, record, and report required data.
  • Familiarity with automated production/process equipment (e.g., chemical pumps, valves, tanks, agitators, conveyor motors).
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. person.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exceptional attitude and work ethic.
  • Familiarity with 5S practices.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience driving powered forklifts.
  • Experience using an HMI to control semi-automated continuous manufacturing processes.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Good dexterity with hands.

Pay

$22.25 hourly.

Schedule

Shift 1: 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM.
