Production Technician - Ravago Manufacturing

About the position

Work in a non-climate controlled environment.
Follow all Quality, Safety & Environmental Procedures.
Move, load and package Raw and Finished Goods.
Forklift experience ”preferred but not required”.

Responsibilities

• Complete box sheets correctly with box numbers, finished end temperatures, correct weights, and indicate whether the box is “Conforming” or “Non-Conforming”.
• Ensure that boxes are labelled correctly – Product ID, correct weights and any other customer requirements.
• Retrieve a quality sample from each box to place on the quality board for that line for quality inspections.
• Complete change overs from one product to another, ensuring there isn’t any contamination.
• Use an overhead crane to transfer blending totes of mixed materials to top of the extruder.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

Skilled Production Tech with production experience or someone just entering the workforce with a passion to learn.

Skills

Must have:

• Regularly lift and carry 55 lbs.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Climb straight incline ladders.
• Have use of fingers and hands for packaging and writing.
• Must have color vision.
