Production Technician IV (Sunday-Thursday:Third Shift)

Objectives/Purpose Of The Job
Responsible for ensuring that manufacturing equipment is operating efficiently at or above target line speeds while minimizing line downtime and product reject. Identifies improvements to ensure standardization to reduce mean time between failure and mean time to repair.
Filling
- Maintains production area to prevent cross-contamination (line clearance).
- Ensures that manufacturing equipment is operating efficiently at or above target line speeds while minimizing line downtime and product reject.
- Maintain spare parts inventory, generate work orders.
- Performs training for new operators.
- Responsible for maintaining OEE (system entry and standards).
- Properly document all activities and operations correctly and on time in the batch record.
- Performs advanced troubleshooting to prevent equipment downtime.
- Lead shutdown maintenance team.
- Create, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance.
- Perform line change overs of format sizes.
- Maintains all required training during the year (SOP, EHS, and HR).
- Support operational excellence and EHS initiatives.
- Assume responsibility for the GMP, ISO, EHS awareness and compliance within the respective area.
- Attend and participate in OpEx improvement initiatives such as reducing costs and OEE improvements.
Packaging
- Operates packaging line and serialization equipment.
- Fills set up for CIP/SIP.
- Operates ointment, gel, solutions, and suspension filling lines including RABS fillers.
- Operates Continuous Particle Monitoring System (Filling).
Internal Qualifications/Certifications
- Line Clearance – Filling and Packaging
- Disinfection – Filling
- Aseptic Gowning – Filling
- Spare Parts/PM – Filling and Packaging
- Serialization – Packaging
- LOTO – Filling and Packaging
- CPMS – Filling
- Train the Trainer – Filling and Packaging
- RABS - Filling
Qualifications /Training
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Technical training required (equipment repair and maintenance).
- This position requires two to three years as a Production Technician III or equivalent experience.
- Spare parts inventory and maintenance experience.
- Able to work quickly and under pressure.
- Good documentation and math skills.
- Must be detail oriented and quality conscious.
- Good team oriented and excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
