Production Technician III
About the role
The Production Technician III position is located at the Williamson, NY operation of KDP, a leading beverage company. The facility covers approximately 1 million square feet and includes a raw apple operation crucial for the site's success. This is a union facility requiring flexibility to work any day or night shift pattern.
Responsibilities
- Operate machine in accordance with on-line quality and Best Practice procedures
- Handle empty cases
- Perform Best Practice quality checks
- Watch for defective materials
- Clean and sanitize equipment and facility
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Complete mechanical repairs
- Aid mechanics during repairs
- Perform quality inspections and associated paperwork
- Make data-driven process adjustments
- Troubleshoot potential problems
- Train other operators
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
- Wear all required safety gear and follow all GMP rules and regulations
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED preferred
- 2+ years experience running machines/equipment
- Ability to learn all essential functions with a reasonable accommodation if needed
- Resolve routine questions and problems, and refer more complex issues to higher levels
- Work under direct supervision and follow standard procedures and written instructions to accomplish assigned tasks
- Must be able to push/pull/lift and/or move 75 pounds
Total Rewards
- Pay range between $29.95 - 31.74 per hour
