Position Production Technician II (shift: Monday to Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm)

About the Role

The Production Technician II is responsible for performing moderately complex builds of computing products in accordance with build plan. Install and test system hardware, software and components. Shift: Monday to Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm

Responsibilities

• Prepare product for assembly.
• Performs builds of moderately complex products per build plan, including installing hardware and components, software loading, and system configuration.
• Performs large rack assembly and cabling.
• Test product and software loads per build plan.
• Identify and process non-conforming material.
• Perform basic system troubleshooting.
• Package, process and transfer product.

Requirements

• Ability to continually stand for long hours.
• Capability to regularly bend, twist, stoop, and reach.
• Ability to consistently handle, lift, and push product and equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable and reports consistently to your scheduled shift, including overtime hours.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work within timeframes.
• Good communication skills.
• Reading, writing, and understanding of English language.
• Able to follow written instructions.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Must be comfortable working under safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years related assembly experience.
• Has limited prior relevant training or work experience.
• Contributes directly to specific unskilled tasks or processes.
• Has limited discretion to vary from established procedures.

Pay & Schedule

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate: $18.00 USD per hour

Work Arrangement: Full time
