IN A NUTSHELL
The Production Technician II ensures the production schedule is executed and communicates production issues to the Manager. Responsibilities include following policies and procedures, managing production of edibles and infused products, adhering to quality control guidelines, preparing samples for testing, and utilizing packaging and production machinery.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Follow Policies & Procedures for daily operations and comply with state medical marijuana regulations
- Responsible for the production of all edibles and infused products
- Ensure accurate cannabis dosing and precise production quantities
- Prepare samples from each batch for third-party testing
- Utilize packaging and production machinery
- Safely store and use cleaning materials
- Maintain proper personal hygiene
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU’LL BRING
- Age 21 or over
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
- Experience with chocolate, pastry, or sugar
- 1+ years’ experience in high-volume food manufacturing or production
- Ability to manage a controlled workflow in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work as a team leader and have extreme attention to detail
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Labor/kitchen environment
- Requires sitting and standing for 8 hours per day
- Requires hand-eye coordination and excellent hand dexterity
- Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and squat continuously
