Primary Duties
- Production of assigned product
- Aid in packaging product
- Handle raw materials according to safety and compliance standards
- Operate forklift to transport product and materials within the production area
- Provide information for daily production reports
- Complete basic training in Lean Manufacturing
- Have basic knowledge of IFS system and basic computer skills
Non-Essential Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of shop work space
- Disposal of bad or damaged product
- Perform miscellaneous duties as requested by supervisor
Experience
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Six months minimum related experience and/or training in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Forklift certification preferred
