Position Overview
The Production Technician role is Owens Corning’s entry-level manufacturing position. This full-time, permanent position involves 12-hour shifts and offers a career-launching opportunity with formal training programs and extensive room for growth.

What You’ll Do
Responsibilities
- Learn processes including printing, wrapping, banding, and staging finished units for the warehouse.
- Perform a broad range of inspection activities following standard work guidelines.
- Complete daily housekeeping and other standard work items for areas of accountability.
- Monitor processes and identify defects in product quality.
What You’ll Need
Requirements
- Preferred: 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced industrial team-based environment.
- Ability to use equipment or tools as necessary in accordance with all safety rules.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Comfortable with basic computer skills including email and data entry.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Desire to learn and grow within the company.
- Growth mindset.
- Ability to work days, nights, and overtime.
- Meet physical demands of the position.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
