About the role
Linde Inc. is seeking a Production Technician to join their team in Keasbey, NJ. This position is requisition number req31681.
Responsibilities
- Startup, operate, and maintain air separation plants and associated systems
- Troubleshoot plant shutdowns and perform corrective maintenance
- Coordinate and perform preventative maintenance on plant components
- Operate units to supply products safely and economically
- Maintain and adjust process performance to meet specifications
- Read and interpret process diagrams and manuals
- Calibrate and troubleshoot control systems
- Perform lockout/tagout procedures and oversee contractor work
- Manage maintenance schedules and improve facility availability
- Communicate with cross-functional teams and other departments
- Manage 7 satellite pipeline meter stations
- Support DigTix locates for pipeline protection
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) or more years of production operations experience in areas like air separation, process operations, instrumentation and controls, industrial maintenance, compressors, mechanical or electrical systems, HVAC, or related military technical disciplines
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting and repair skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing/measuring equipment
- Working knowledge of computers and typical software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders and stairs, lift up to 50 pounds, and work at elevated heights
- On-call rotation every fourth week, some overtime, holiday, and after-hours work, and turnaround support within the region may be required
Qualifications
