Production Technician

About the role

The Boston Conservatory at Berklee is seeking skilled and enthusiastic production technicians and costumers to help bring our vibrant Theater, Dance, Opera, and Music performances to life. We're looking for creative, reliable professionals in areas such as stage electrics, light board programming, audio, carpentry, stage supervision, stitching, wardrobe, and general production support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set construction and installation
• Operate lighting and sound equipment
• Support costume design and fabrication
• Collaborate with artists, designers, and technicians
• Ensure smooth operation of production events

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1-2 years of production/performing arts experience required

• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for live performance and collaboration

Skills

• Proficiency in stage electrics, light board programming, audio, and carpentry
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
