Production Technician - 3rd shift

About the role

The Production Technician works in all areas of Production which includes, working with composite structures, producing complex assemblies, tape wrapping, and compression molding.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders/travelers when they are scheduled to be finalized.
• Utilizing ISO 9001/AS9100 standards.
• Understand the production process in the various areas which include tape wrapping, cutting, and compression molding and hand layup of composites.
• Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
• Mix and measure resin and adhesive.
• Adjust temperature controls of ovens.
• Review blueprints or other instructions to determine operational methods or sequences.
• Maintain production or processing equipment.
• Use of upper body mobility, such as bending, use of arms and hands, and standing for the majority of the time.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Repetitive motion.

Qualifications

• To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, certain positions may require applicants to be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C.1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C.1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Pay

$22 per hour + $1.75 shift differential = $23.75 an hour
