Production Technician 2nd Shift & 3rd Shift

About the role

The primary duties include handling glass, lifting glass, inspecting glass for defects, slotting and packing glass in racks. Associates work five - 8-hour shifts per week with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform assignments per established safety policies and procedures
• Adheres to the Quality Policy, including all items assigned to this position following policies, procedures, and work instructions
• Complies with the work rules and standards outlined in the Associate Handbook
• Demonstrate ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within a reasonable time, depending on the job functions' degree of difficulty
• Must possess an education or experience level that permits the associate to effectively communicate and perform duties, assignments, and responsibilities of the job
• Able to read, analyze and interpret documents relating to the job, function, or assignment
• Able to perform basic mathematical equations
• Able to follow work rules, work independently, be flexible, and be willing to perform various jobs
• Able to maintain clean work areas and follow good housekeeping practices

Requirements

• Required to stand, walk, use hands to grasp, push and pull, bend and lift, reach with hands and arm
• Dependable
• Must be at least 18 years old

Qualifications

• Basic Education Needed: High School Diploma or GED

Pay

$21.50 - $23.50 per hour

Schedule

• 2nd Shift Hours: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm Monday through Friday with overtime when needed.
• 3rd Shift Hours: 10:00 pm - 6:00 am Sunday through Thursday with overtime when needed.
