Production Technician (2nd & 3rd Shift)

About the role

The Production Technician (Chemical Mixing) will set up, operate, or tend machines to mix or blend ingredients to make products according to formulation batch cards, maintain quality standards, collect samples for lab testing, and clean equipment and workstations after each job.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, or tend machines to mix or blend ingredients according to formulation batch cards.
• Regulate machines and operate equipment to meet production and/or inventory levels.
• Maintain the highest level of quality at all times.
• Collect samples from batches for laboratory testing.
• Clean machine and workstation after each job.

Requirements

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (no exceptions).
• At least 1 year of experience in a plant or manufacturing environment (operators, assembly line, production, etc.).
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Chemicals experience is a huge plus.
• Must be clean‑shaven or have very low facial hair to be fitted for a respirator.
• Must pass a basic math and reading comprehension assessment before interviewing (no exceptions).
• Must pass a pre‑employment physical.

Skills

• Basic math and reading comprehension.

Pay

• Hourly starting wage: $22.50.
• Shift differential: $1.25 for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Schedule

• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm.
• 3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 10:00 pm – 6:30 am.
• Candidates will train on 1st shift and, after full training, move to 2nd or 3rd shift.
