Production Tech III

About the role

Airswift has been tasked by one of our major clients to find a Production Tech to work for an initial six‑month contract in Odessa, Texas. The Production Technician supports field operations by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of oil and gas production equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring production facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with the company’s operational, environmental, and safety standards. The position requires strong technical skills, the ability to work independently in a field environment, and effective coordination with operations and maintenance teams. Work type: W2 contract (six‑months with possibility for extension). Work schedule: 10/3, 5/3 – 8‑hour days.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in Oil and Gas
• At least a GED degree
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of production equipment and field operations
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and P&IDs
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between field locations
• Ability to comply with operational, environmental, and safety standards
