Production Tech II - 2nd Shift , Robotics Manufacturing & Technical Operations

About the role

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Production Technician who will be responsible for robotics assembly, material handling, and product packaging. The role is part of the Assembly and Logistics teams within the general manufacturing group, building, automated testing, and packaging Amazon‑manufactured products.

Responsibilities

• Use general knowledge of manufacturing tools (including torque tools, wrenches, channel locks, etc.) and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Build electro‑mechanical units utilizing industry best practices.
• Perform shipping, receiving, maintaining, tracking, and delivering goods for manufacturing following appropriate protocols.
• Learn systems and tools for material management and coordinate delivery methods with suppliers and customers.
• Seek out process improvements to continuously meet on‑time delivery of goods.
• Operate power industrial equipment and pallet jacks for loading and unloading trailers.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in English‑language communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to carry/lift up to 50 lb, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Experience in high‑volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of automated material handling systems, packaging technologies, and storage solutions.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Oracle ERP software and manufacturing execution systems.

Pay

Hourly rate: $25.00 – $26.00 USD (base pay plus applicable shift differential and overtime as applicable).
