Production Team Partner - Washroom Operator - UniFirst
About the role
The Production Team Partner will be responsible for loading and unloading industrial washers and dryers in the Wash Aisle Department. This position offers on-the-job training, competitive pay, and a variety of benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and employee discounts.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload washing machines according to wash load formulation and processing sequence
- Operate washing machines by proper sling weight
- Load and unload dryers
- Deliver processed garments to designated finishing area
- Deliver processed flat goods to designated area
- Maintain a clean work area
- Complete paperwork and record keeping in a timely manner
- Monitor detergent supply and report all equipment malfunctions
- Report all production processes accurately
- Follow all safety policies, HACCP, and medical guidelines
- Perform other duties as directed by area supervisor or management
Qualifications
- High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
- Read, write, and communicate clearly with management
- Perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units in weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
