About the role
The Production Team Partner role is located in the Wash Aisle Department at UniFirst. This position offers on-the-job training, competitive pay, and benefits including health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload industrial washers and dryers
- Operate washing machines according to wash load formulation and processing sequence
- Unload and deliver processed garments to designated finishing areas
- Unload and deliver processed flat goods to designated areas
- Maintain a clean work area
- Complete paperwork and record keeping in a timely manner
- Monitor detergent supply and report all equipment malfunctions
- Report all production processes accurately
- Follow all safety policies, HACCP guidelines, and medical protocols
- Perform other duties as directed by area supervisors or management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
- Basic reading, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
Qualifications
- High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
- Read, write, and communicate clearly with management
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units in weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs

Pay & Schedule
- Pay range: $16.01 to $20.02 per hour
- Work schedule: 5-day work week with Saturday and Sunday off
