Production Team Member (PPP)

Responsibilities

• Performs batch setup and mixing of dough
• Determine correct batch recipe, gathers, measures and mixes ingredients
• Become and maintain dough certification
• Loads roll of paper in paper machines
• Loads roll of plastic in wrap machine
• Insures the proper shell count and removes any bad thin crust product off line
• Dumps rejected product into canister
• Places pre-stacked pressed product into bags when needed
• Assembles box for packaging using equipment
• Placed pre-packaged product into box
• Uses equipment to seal box
• Lets box onto conveyor
• Palletizes boxes
• Removes packaged boxes from conveyor
• Loads boxes onto pallet
• Uses forklift to transport pallet to freezer
• Disassembles, cleans, sanitizes, and reassembles production equipment
• Clean and sanitize divider, mixer, and mixing bowls
• Keep maintenance and sanitation logs
• Reassemble divider and hoses
• Performs general cleaning tasks in production area
• May be required to clean silo bin
• Ensures production floor is swept and walls are cleaned
• Empty all dough waste containers

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work with yeast and flour products
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check

Qualifications

• Physical requirements: Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, climb stairs, and lift up to 30 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. on occasion, perform heavy pushing/pulling of product, work in refrigerated conditions [33-38 degrees], and work in environment with exposure to loud machinery, when necessary
