PRODUCTION TEAM MEMBER - BEMIDJI, MN

About the role

This is a benefited entry-level hourly position at our lumber manufacturing facility in Bemidji, MN. The role involves machine center relief, machine and area clean-up duties around the mill site, performing operator PMs (preventive maintenance), operating mobile stock, and operating multiple workstations to support lumber mill processes. You will work as part of a high-performance team in a fast-paced and technologically advanced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine center relief duties
• Conduct machine and area clean-up around the mill site
• Execute operator preventive maintenance (PMs)
• Operate mobile stock equipment
• Operate multiple workstations to support lumber mill processes
• Work in a fast-paced, high-performance team environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least two years of work or school experience in the past four years
• Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a high-performance team
• Reliable and productive team member
• Intermediate computer skills to operate advanced machine centers
• Ability to work a rotating, flexible shift schedule including days, nights, and some weekends
• Able to climb and descend stairs, ladders, catwalks at elevated levels, and work at heights
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of working in an industrial setting subject to hot, dusty, cold, wet, and dirty environments

Prior industrial and/or heavy equipment experience is desirable.

Pay

Hourly rate of pay for this position is $29.93.
