Responsibilities
- Efficient and effective management of the production teams to deliver the manufacturing plan.
- To manage the team to ensure efficient and effective performance, adherence to the agreed production plan, costs and quality standards.
- To effectively manage the teams attendance levels in accordance with the company's required standard.
- To manage the team in all aspects of Health & Safety including compliance with OSHA act 1970.
- To coach and mentor the Team to ensure a strong culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
- A high school diploma or GED required; postsecondary technical training or a certificate/diploma from a community or technical college preferred.
- Evidence of significantly improving individual and team performance.
- Proven leader.
- Strong Communicator.
- Fully conversant in all Microsoft applications/software.
- Extensive experience of Health & Safety procedures.
- Working knowledge/understanding of LEAN manufacturing processes and techniques
